先生のプレゼントの準備の日。。。(the day we prepared for sensei’s present…)

yay it’s also the day they came to my house lol. ‘They’ referring to Adrian, Bryan and Katty. We were gonna do more stuff to the little black(which is no longer black now cos we wrapped it with nice nice paper haha)booklet that we’re gonna give it to 先生 on the day of her departure. It’ll contain all our memories together, and most importantly, our personal touch that’ll differentiate our present from others… (not being mean or anything but we just want 先生 to remember us the way we are…)

First of all, we went to Bugis Junction to buy paper for wrapping the book. Of course, we had to stop by Hip Diner’s to satisfy our starvation…

Hip Diner’s (USA) is by Biller Bombers. We ate at the one at the basement of Bugis J. It’s targeted at teenagers, so the price and the menu differs slightly from the normal Billy Bombers. If Billy Bombers is already that normal, imagine what Hip Diner’s would be like.

IT’S.EVEN.MORE.PLAIN. sorry for my straightforwardness, Billy Bombers’ fans(if there’s any). The food were really overpriced. We should’ve spent じじ’s bonus more wisely xD

We ordered cheese fondue, stew beef (Bryan’s), fish and chips (Adrian’s), stew chicken (Katty’s) and Honey chicken (mine). There’s also chocolate mint milk shake (Adrian’s), chocolate milk shake (Bryan’s) and mango fruity freeze (mine and Katty’s).

the cheese fondue came first

and my mango fruity freeze. It’s much better than the Ice monster’s! the ice was so soft and chewy!! this the only thing i did not regret ordering lol

after lunching and buying some paper we went back to my home to prepare sensei’s present…

yeah nice right. I took some pics too but dunno why the camera is gone sia… (where~ is my camera?!! *click x4 in who let the dogs out tune*)

in any case look forward to the completed product and the surprised look on sensei’s face when we give it to her on her departure… XD

About Kimono Party Girl

I was born and bred in Singapore for the first 20 years of my life, and then I decided that even after flying all over the world as a flight attendant, life is still too boring. So, in search of more adventure and add spice to my life, I quit my job, packed up, and left for Japan - which is, to me, the promised land. I've always been fascinated with Japan ever since I was 8, thanks to Ayumi Hamasaki, aka the Britney Spears of Japan. She's the first J-pop singer that I have been obsessed with, and my first contact with the Japanese language was through her lyrics. Yup, I first learned my Hiragana from her song 'I am'. But what really sealed the deal was my first trip to Japan in 2010. The fresh air, the beautiful cherry blossoms, the endless fast fashion trends and the awesome food was what made Japan the land of my dreams, and it had since become my goal to one day live, work and party in Japan. So after working like a horse as a flight attendant for 2 years and saving up a decent amount, I made a big leap of faith and moved to the land of the rising sun. I have studied one year of Japanese and two years of graphic design. Currently, I'm in the midst of shukatsu (就活 - job hunting). Wish me luck!
